How do they differ from traditional portfolio's?

Traditional portfolios are viewed as a personal collection or artefacts that describes and stores a person's achievements and learning status.

Traditional portfolios are usually seen as a paper document of an individual's achievements that can be accessible at anytime.

An e-portfolio can be produced by using simple tools but are typically using specialist e - portfolio applications that contains a level of structure and a high level of customisation for specific contexts and support or multiple media purposes.
